Ernest Heasley

Ernest Heasley, age 80, of Cornwall, Ontario, was born May 3, 1946, in Winchester, Ontario, and passed away June 16, 2026. He will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection by all who knew him.

Ernest was the beloved husband of the late Susan (née Lalonde) for over 56 years. He was the loving father of Shelley Heasley of Capreol, Jeff Heasley (Abby) of Manitoulin Island, Kevin Heasley (Natalie) of Cornwall, and the late Adrien. He was a treasured grandfather of Brandon, Aaron, Lincoln, Alex, Codi, Melissa, and Tyson, and a proud great-grandfather of Amelia, Aria, Wyatt, and Charlotte, with two more great-grandchildren on the way. Ernest was also the cherished brother of Phyllis Burtenshaw-Lalonde (Noel) of Finch, and the dear son of the late Fred Heasley and the late Olive (née Moss).

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will take place at Finch Cemetery, Finch, Ontario, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
