Francois (Frank) Denis

Denis, François (Frank) – It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of François on Friday, August 26, 2022, surrounded by his family at the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge at the age of 76. Loving brother of Juliette Larocque of Cornwall, Michel (Claudette) Denis, of Cornwall, Robert (Cheryl) of Toronto, Louise (Michel) Paquette, and Jacqueline (Michael) Maheau of Cornwall. He will be dearly missed by nieces, nephews, and many friends. He is pre-deceased by his parents Origène and Cécile (née Lalonde) Denis and his sister Gilberte (Paul) Fredette. Frank enjoyed watching TV hockey, especially The Montreal Canadiens, his favorite team, listening to old classic country music, and playing the board game Trouble. He was a kind and loving man and made many friends along his journey. The family wishes to express their sincerest appreciation to Community Living Stormont County, and Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge, words cannot express the gratitude for the care and compassion that you provided Frank and his family. Cremation services are entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Visitation will be on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 11 am until 1 pm at which time a Funeral Liturgy will be held in the funeral home chapel. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Community Living Stormont or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
