Gerald Marleau

10 May, 1931 – 21 January, 2021

MARLEAU, Gerald – at Heartwood Long Term Care Centre, on Thursday January 21st, 2021. Gerald Marleau of Cornwall, Ontario, age 89 years. Beloved husband of Louisette (nee Boudreault). Will be greatly missed by his sons Ronald Marleau (Helene), Lawrence MacDonald (Francine), and the late Gerard MacDonald (Hali). Loving grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Exila (née Despatie) Marleau. Also predeceased by his brother Arthur Marleau (the late Lucille), and his sister Marjolaine Marleau (the late George Brabant). Gerald will be missed by many family and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). Louisette and family,
I have so many good memories of you and Gerry at Heartwood . The daily tea room visits to work on the puzzles, sitting outside on the nice days, all of the fun events in the Gathering Room, and of course the BBQ's.....Gerry would always give me a sweet little smile when Id say hello to you both.
Im thinking of you and wishing you peace and comfort from the good memories.

My favorite memory of Gerry was when I was doing care on this lovely man, some of my hair fell out of my bun and he looked up at me and gently put my hair behind my ear for me. I kissed his hand thanked him with a little tear in my eye. I will always cherish this moment.
