She joins her late husband Ronald Aimé Charbonneau (2021).
Cherished mother of Daniel (Anne) Charbonneau and proud nanny of Roxanne and Liana (fiancé Tyler White).
She will also be missed by her sister-in-law Heather Hamill, relatives, friends, and many of the SJCCC staff who treated her like family.
In her earlier years, she was the proud owner and founder of Gloria’s Travel Services, which she later sold.
Gloria was a joyous soul always making sure that her family and friends were cared for. She had a fulfilling life filled with escorting groups on cruises and trips during her years as a travel agent, as well as motorcycling to the east coast with her husband on many occasions.
Gloria could always be seen driving around town enjoying convertible rides with her family. She named her houseboat “Follow Your Dream” and that she did. She truly will be missed by all who knew her.
Predeceased by her parents Jack and Veronica (née Larose) Hamill and by her brothers Richard “Dick” Hamill and Douglas Hamill.
Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. As per her wishes, there will be no service taking place.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre (SJCCC), would be appreciated by the family.
A special Thank You from the family to the caregivers at SJCCC for making her comfortable in her final years.
