

Jean was a truly special person, cherished by all who knew her. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcomed, supported, and loved. Whether through her warm smile, her generous spirit, or her unwavering strength, she touched the hearts of everyone she met.
She is survived by Ronald Lafrance, her beloved partner of 49 years; her niece Lisa Latour Colby (Matthew Colby) who she considered her daughter; her grandchildren Grace and Emma Colby; her brothers Marc Latour (Linda Lauzon) and Jacques Latour; her in-laws Rene Lafrance (Aline), Gilles Lafrance, Mike Lafrance (late Debbie), Ileen Cayer (Gerry), Elaine Lafrance (Pete), and Art Lafrance (Elaine); her many nieces and nephews Mikey, Tina, Joey, Corey, Sara, Tyler, Nancy, Tammy, Cindy, Brian, Angele, Andre, Lee, Joey, Kaylin, and Chad; and her great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Archie and Rolande (Seguin) Latour, her twin sister Joan (Latour) Dingwall, her brother Michel Latour, her sister Jacqueline Lanois, and her sister-in-law Gaëtanne Leblanc (late Robert Leblanc).
In keeping with Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (613-938-1039).
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Cornwall Community Hospital or the Ottawa General Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Jean was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.
