He was the beloved son of the late Ernest Pain and the late Helen Pain (née Easson). Jack was the loving common-law husband of Toni Lavery and the devoted life partner of the late Jeannine Lamesse, whom he cared for throughout her courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
He is also survived by his dear friend and former wife, Dawn Mannard. Jack was a proud father to Bryan Pain (Amanda Smith and formerly Keri Lorencz) and Jennifer Pain. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Rianna Pain-Andrejin, Roman Pain-Andrejin, Kingston Pain, and Kolten Pain.
Born and raised in Point-St. Charles, Jack was a staunch Canadian who later settled in Two Mountains to raise his family. He served in the Navy Reserves during his youth and was a dedicated member of the Legion, participating in the Remembrance Day Parade with unwavering pride. Jack actively volunteered for the Liberal Party in Quebec and the Green Party in Ontario. He was a proud alumnus of Concordia University and enjoyed a long and fulfilling career with CNCP Telecommunications in Montreal.
