Gail:
Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mom. Aunt Josie will always hold a special place in my heart. I will always cherish the times we would sit together and talk about our heritage and genealogy, she was so forthcoming and we would always laugh. As you know, Aunt Josie and my mom were more than sisters, they were best friends. Many times she told me how much she missed my mother. You can take solace in the knowledge that they are together again.
Saint Kateri Tekakwitha take our sister home to God.
RIP Aunt Josie

Hi Gail,

Diana and I are sorry to hear about your mother. Her passing is a great loss. We hope you find comfort knowing that she enjoyed a good life while with us. As for me, she will always be remembered as my second mom. When you grow up as neighbors, you become more than just relatives, you become one big family. Just as you were like a little sister to me, Aunt Josie was like a mother figure. When I saw her picture in the obituary I reminisced of the days when we played in the yard as your father and mother kept a watchful eye. I can’t say that I remember your mother having too many words, but when she spoke it was meaningful and heartfelt. I was always welcomed when I went over and I thank her for being the person she was. Rest in peace Aunt Josie.
