Karine Parthenais

Karine lived life with incredible energy, passion, and heart. She embraced every moment fully, always dreaming big. Her warmth, determination, and vibrant spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a deep love for life, a generous soul, and a way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.

A proud author, Karine found great joy and purpose in writing her book, The Work Vacay. It was truly her passion — an accomplishment she was deeply proud of that reflected her creativity, courage, and love of inspiring and helping others.

She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her devoted husband Chad, who was not only the love of her life but also her very best friend and greatest source of strength. Together, they shared a bond built on unwavering love, laughter, friendship, and partnership. She also leaves behind her beloved “fur child,” Henri, who brought her endless joy and companionship.

Cherished daughter of Colette Dubeau and the late Normand Dubeau, beloved sister of Jenelle Marion and her husband Maxim, and Devon Hayes (Yuki). She was a proud and loving aunt to Olivia and Adora Marion.

Karine was the cherished daughter-in-law of the late Daniel and Suzanne Parthenais. She is also survived by her sisters- and brothers-in-law Tina (Eric) Clark and Jamie (Nic) Charette, and by her nieces Chantalle (Brandon) and Kayla.

She will be fondly remembered by her extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives were brightened by her kindness, strength, and unforgettable spirit.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes – West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, Ontario, on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m., and on Monday, May 25, 2026, from 9:00–10:00 a.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 321 Tollgate Road East, Cornwall, Ontario, on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
