Larry Harley, a great, great Man who I have had the Honor and the privilege of calling Family.
With Larry's departure from this world, the lives of everyone who knew or who knows Larry Harley are a little less brighter today.
I am celebrating the life Larry Harley lived, his contribution of love and generosity to his family, friends and to his community.

We've known Larry for many years. He did our income taxes every year and we always had a nice chat with him.  He had a friendly manner and always had a good story to tell.

Larry did my and my mom's taxes for the past ten years. What a lovely, lovely man. Even enjoyed hearing his melodic "Larry🎵" when he answered the phone. Upon any visit we'd chat for half an hour but only 10 minutes of that was about the income tax. What an interesting man. When Covid hit,  Larry had the box set up outside for drop offs and I told my mom, "but I won't get to chat with him🥰"

I just heard from my cousin, Doug Thompson, that my Uncle Larry passed away and I wanted to send his family my deepest condolences. I had not seen my uncle for many years until I had a chance to visit with him last year during my visit to Cornwall to try to reconnect with some of my relatives in Canada. Larry and I had lunch and a wonderful visit with Doug and Beverly & Alex Martin.  We had made tentative plans to try to catch up with each other again when he visited his son in Florida this past winter. Alas, it was not to be. 

My memories of Larry from our younger days were of his kindness, care, and energy. I think those traits stayed with him throughout his life. When he knew I was coming to visit, he took his time to reach out to Doug, Beverly, and Alex to invite them to our lunch and the experience was all the richer and more meaningful to me as a result. 

I will miss my Uncle Larry as I know his family will. Rest In Peace, Larry.

Larry ..... where do I start . A great man  who always greeted me with a smile .         Opened his door to me every weekend when I was in high school and of course every day for lunch.
His basement was the place of legend with epic parties that spanded decades . Still talked about today .
He was always available to debate  the problems of the world . And give a little advice when I needed it most.
Sundays were saved for road trips to destinations unknown with a guarantee of an outstanding restaurant experience. 
Larry never judged and told it as it was. I recently visited with Larry for a couple hours and reminisced about days gone by .

We will miss you Larry

For years we had many great occasions with Larry.  Travelling to many parts  of the world,or going out to dinner ( which was his favorite)  Larry was always in.

Larry was like a big brother to.me even though he was my uncle . Many fond memories of him when I was growing up and fortunately he was only a few blocks away so I saw him quite often. Recently had an opportunity to reconnect with him and we shared many thoughts and memories of life growing up in Cornwall. Rest in peace dear uncle.

My memories of Larry are too many to write and they all bring a smile to my face!  From supplying bevies for the annual pool cleaning to him hiding the good snacks under his bed thinking we wouldn’t find them 🤣. RIP Larry!  ❤️
