Dear Allan, Holly, Warren and Marvel, I was saddened to hear of your dads passing.  When we all played together in our backyards, so long ago,it seemed like our dads would live forever.  Thinking of you all and remembering our good times as neighbors when we lived at 430 Fifth.

 My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting your Dad in emergency department at the hospital on Thursday Jan 9. We talked while we waited. I'm honored to have met him ,if only for a brief time.

For Allan, Warren, Marvel and Holly, please accept my heartfelt condolences. Although few words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in my thoughts. It was an honor to have met your father.

My sympathies to you and your families. I too have many backyard memories of the gardeners; your dad, Mr. Meek, Mr. Greff and our dad leaning on their rakes discussing the anticipated bounty from their gardens. The good old days are gone but not forgotten.

My sympathy to Warren and siblings.  I enjoyed my visits with Bud when visiting the lodge and meeting Warren. He had a great memory, since he was our neighbour when I was growing up on First Street West and he could recall many happenings from that time.  He will be missed.

To Allan, Holly, Warren and Marvel; I have many great memories of your dad Bud as our backyard neighbour - from his teasing when I delivered the newspaper, his help when we had gardening issues, to chatting with him as he enjoyed his wood stove in the garage.  Great man, I know you will miss him, may he rest in peace.

Sympathies go out to my old backyard neighbor "Bud" remember visiting him many times when I was younger while he was working in his garage or he was working on his tomato garden behind his garage.
