Over grassy hills through bushels of thorns and dense trees, you've held my hand and when the terrain was too much, you carried me.

Every Saturday night - out on the kitchen floor - during intermission - using two pairs of shoes, for goal posts - two brooms as hockey sticks and a plastic container for our puck,  the game was on.

Taking me fishing at Thompson's Corry even when I didn't want to go but later appreciating it while reeling in the big one.

Being stern when I needed it and never denying me a hug

Thank you for being the best Dad a boy could ever ask for.

So many fond memories with my grandfather Lawrence Seyeau - the chocolate bar eating contest with my brothers where the winner got another chocolate bar - when I just turned 5 years old, he told me to place my hand in a bowl shape and would fill it up with coins until one coin dropped and I would receive that amount - and the many times he would roar after his favourite hockey team would score a goal. He is going to be missed - but we have his poems to remember him by. Love you Papa.

My condolences to all of Lawrence's family. I have very good memories of our time together. The one thing I can remember is: he would ask the girls on the school bus to sing then he would always have some candy for us or get us to tell him jokes & whatever joke he liked the best would get some candy or we could open the door to let the next kid off when we got to their home. And so many more.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
