Villeneuve, Leon – On Monday, March 14, 2022 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Joan Villeneuve (née Sliter). Loving father to Dale Robertson (Monique) and Brenda Miseferi (Donald). Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Justin Robertson (Kaval), Sarah Theriault (Phil), Patrick Seguin, Gina Price, Angela Overbeek (Mark), his great grandchildren, Eli, Noah, Remie, Addy, Preston, Jayden, Tenley. He is also survived by his siblings Betty (Orville Murphy), Nancy (late Roger Samson), Jack (Linda), Fay (Tom O’Neill), Victor (Judy) and brother-in-law Ken Sliter (Gail). He is also sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Gertrude (née Denesha) Villeneuve, his brothers Albert (Rachel), Harvey (Bev), Kenny (Margarite).
Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall.
Visitation will be held on March 28, 2022 from 9-11am followed by a chapel service at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal to follow at St-Columban’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
