Lucienne Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, Lucienne “Lucy” (Desrosiers) - At the St. Joseph Continuing Care Centre on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. She was 88. Loving wife of the late Robert Armstrong. Cherished mother of Alan Armstrong (Anne Marie) and Donna Goulet (Larry). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Patrick (Sherri) and Monica. Loving sister of Lucille Edwardson (late Charles “Bud”), Helene Perras (Gerry Archambault) and Alfred Desrosiers (Sharon). Lucienne will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Gonzague and Jeanne (Lafrance) Desrosiers and her brother Lionel Desrosiers. A private Graveside Service will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to give a warm heartfelt thank you to all the staff that cared for our mother during her stay at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre. The palliative care she received showed how caring and warm the staff were to her and the family. Lucienne passed to the next life with dignity and peace.
