Beloved wife of 64 years to Raymond Mitchell. Loving mother of Kellie Green (Doug) and Todd Mitchell (late Violet). Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Treasured sister of Norma Gibson, Charles O’Brien (late Jessie), Margaret Crook (late Arthur) and Susan O’Brien (Doug).
Predeceased by her parents Charles and Irene (née Gallinger) O’Brien. As well as his siblings Sheila Kyte (late Henry), Patricia Campbell, and Richard O’Brien.
In keeping with Marlene’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH 20 SEVENTH STREET W, CORNWALL, ON on Friday August 14, 2026, between the hours of 9:00AM to 11:00AM.
Prior to a Service of Remembrance that will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11:00AM.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made out to Hospice Cornwall.
