Beloved wife of 70 years to Claude Tourigny. Loving mother of Daniel Tourigny (Debra Raymond), Joanne Tourigny, Terry Tourigny and the late Serge Tourigny. Cherished grandmother of: Christina, Claude, Sophie, Crystal, Travis, Lianne and Steven; and great grandmother to many. Treasured sister of: Robert, Bernard, Suzanne, Carol, and Louise.
Mona is predeceased by her parents Euclide and Sara (née Bourdeau) Richard. As well as her siblings Rene, Maurice, Juliette, Anita, Therese, Noella and Rita.
In keeping with Mona’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Family will be in attendance at Lahaie and Sullivan West Branch 20 Seventh Street W, Cornwall, on Tuesday November 17, 2026, between the hours of 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM.
As well as on Wednesday November 18, 2026, between the hours of 9:00AM to 10:30AM.
Prior to a Funeral Mass that will be held at Paroise Sainte-Thérèse-de-Lisieux (1304 Lisieux St, Cornwall) at 11:00AM.
Burial at Notre Dame at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
