Beloved husband of the late Alda Major (née Pilon). Loving father of Deborah Major, the late Wayne Major and Valerie Major (Ron). Cherished step grandfather of Devan Garlough and Courtney Garlough (Brent).
Peter is predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth (née Ferguson); and his siblings Joseph Major (late Mary), Margaret McPhee and the late John Major (late Margaret).
Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH 20 SEVENTH STREET W, CORNWALL (613-932-8482) on Wednesday August 5th, 2026, between the hours of 9:00AM to 11:00AM.
Prior to a Funeral Service that will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11:00AM.
Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Williamstown.
