Raymond Mathew Thomas Ward

Beloved Father of Caileigh Currier, Emma Currier, Hunter Currier, and Dillon Currier. Treasured Brother of Keith Ward (Jennifer Casselman), Mark Ward, John Ward, David Ward, and Karen Ward. Cherished Uncle of Grey Ward and Cass Ward.

Ray is predeceased by his parents, Willis and Linda (née Newman) Ward.

Ray found joy in music. Whether it was punk rock, celtic music, or classic country, he would sing along and tap his feet to the rhythm, completely lost in the moment.

Ray often spoke of his childhood, sharing stories of his older brothers and sister and the memories they shared. He missed his Mom and Dad deeply and carried them with him always.

In the months before his passing, Ray was given the precious opportunity to reconnect with his children again—not as the little boys and girls he remembered, but as the remarkable young people they were becoming. Most importantly, he was able to tell each of them they were loved. Despite the struggles he faced, the love he had for his family never faded.

He will be deeply missed by his soulmate and the mother of his children, Susan Currier. Their journey together was not without hardship, but despite their many years apart, their love endured. The family they created remained the greatest gift of Ray's life.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Raymond will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery in Cornwall, Ontario.
