ALLAIRE, Richard – Retired City Clerk and CAO of the City of Cornwall - At the Ottawa Hospital (General Campus) on Wednesday November 19, 2014. He was 70. He leaves his loving wife of 46 years, Sharon (Lebrun) Allaire. Cherished father of Dan (Celine) and Alain Allaire (Chantal Rolfe). Sadly missed by 4 grandchildren, Janie, Maxime, Khloe and Samuel. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Germaine (Menard) Allaire and one sister Françoise Cashion (James). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, on Sunday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Monday from 9:30 – 10:30am. Funeral Mass, Monday November 24, 2014 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church at 11am followed by cremation Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery, at a later date. Memorial donations to Children’s Treatment Centre, Canadian Red Cross or Koala Place appreciated..
