Rita Marie Rose Bourget
13 December, 1953 – 4 July, 2025

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Rita Marie Rose Bourget (née Plourde), at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on July 4th, 2025, at the age of 71 years.
Cherished sister of Suzanne Higgins (late David) and André Plourde (Chantale). Predeceased by her parents Gérard Alexis Plourde and Thérèse Cécile Plourde. Rita will be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Rita’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, ON. A private urn committal at Notre-Dame Cemetery will be held at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
