Rita Imelda Paquette

PAQUETTE, Rita (Marleau) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday July 1, 2016. She was 84. She leaves her loving husband of 62 years, Bernard Paquette. Dear mother of Nelson Paquette (Diane), Sharon Watson-Desrosiers (Alfred), Donna Alguire (Richard), Michelle Alguire (Kevin) and Bernice Allard (Francois). Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn, Jason, Joshua, Justin, Nolan, Amanda, Chase, Jesslyn, Sheldon, Chantal, Liane and Josée and 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by one brother Leonard Marleau (Antonine) and one sister Ramona Germain (late Romeo). Predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Mary (Dixon) Marleau and one brother Raymond (late Simone) one sister, Doris St. Denis (late Raymond) and one grandson Cory. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Wednesday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm. Friends are requested to assemble at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 321 Tollgate Road East on Thursday July 7, 2016 for funeral mass at 10am. Rite of Committal to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
