Robert will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Rachel Labelle-Cousineau (Chris), Guillaume Labelle (Emily), and Genevieve Labelle, and their mother, Linda. He was a cherished grandfather to Maxim and Sophie.
He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Nicole Fister (the late Lester), Denise Labelle-Gélinas (Daniel), André Labelle (Christine), and Jacques Labelle (Dwayne). Robert was predeceased by his brother, Richard Labelle (the late Claude), and his parents, Lucien and Irène Labelle (née Longtin). Survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In keeping with Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Lahaie & Sullivan Funeral Home – East Branch, located at 614 First Street East, Cornwall, Ontario.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the OCAPDD/Open Hands would be greatly appreciated by the family.
