I worked with Bob both at the Canadian Museum of Nature and the Canada Science and Technology Museum Corporation.  He was both a friend and colleague I will remember him with fond memories.  My deepest symphaty to the family.

My condolences to Bob's family. I worked with Bob for a time at the Museum of Nature. He was a lovely man - always so friendly and he had a good sense of humour. I remember one day when he and a colleague played a joke on me and ordered me to clean up my office as it was a fire risk. Or maybe it wasn't a joke! Anyway, I liked him and was very sad to learn of his passing at such a young age. May memories of happy times remain with you forever.

I worked with Bob for many years.  He was a gentleman in all senses of the word and a fine colleague. I was saddened to hear of his passing.

Bob and Denise were my next door neighbours in Hunt Club in the 80s and Bob was one of my favourite employees with National Museums of Canada Security Services. His intelligence and great sense of humour made our work easier. Rooney Hodgins and Bob were partners in our mobile patrol and now they are both gone. RIP my friends. My sincere condolences to Denise and the family.

Bob was a kind and gentle man. I worked with Bob at the Museums. I always respected his integrity and enjoyed his good sense of humor. It was a privilege to know Bob & to work with him.

He was a kind man. He was a gentleman. We worked together at the NMC Corporation, then Museums, over many years & through many, sometimes difficult, changes. Bob was always responsible & serious about Security. He was also fair & reasonable with a good sense of humor. He contributed in all he did. It was a pleasure to get to know him & to work with him.

I knew Bob through various committees that we worked on over the years regarding museum security and emergency preparedness. He worked tirelessly to get an agreement signed with all the major national museums, persuading them to cooperate on emergency response. He also helped to review many of the major travelling exhibitions across Canada, as well as his work in security at the Canada Science & Technology Museum.  He had a kind and friendly disposition, always knowledgeable and helpful to me, and I valued his expertise in museum security.  I was shocked to learn of his passing at such an early age, and so soon after he retired. My heart goes out to Denise and family at his loss.

Denise - News of Bob's passing came as a shock to me earlier in the week. Bob and I worked closely together at the Museum of Nature during the institution's most troubling times. He was much more than an employee who always provided good advice and counsel. He was also a friend. My thoughts are with you and your family at this time. Please accept my most sincere condolences.
