So sad to lose Uncle Roger - Mom's last living sibling. It was a last connection to her family that she cherished. She can't get over the fact that she has outlived them all!
She has missed visiting Roger at the villa these past months. Mom, Lynda and I enjoyed seeing him and Aunt Madeleine at mass on Sundays. We will all miss him.
Love this photo of the St-Germain family with grandkids.

I have so many memories of 'Mon oncle Roger' and they're all happy ones. All memories include his big smile, his giggly laugh and his penchant to tease. But there was one special bond between us: he always called me 'carotte', even the few times I saw him in recent years. And even then, it was accompanied by his trademark smile, though his laugh was much weakened. Uncle Roger was the only relative beyond my immediate family to reach out to me in Calgary, when he visited Jean and Céline during their brief stay here. Rest in peace with the angels, mon oncle.

Deepest sympathy to my friend and baseball teammate, John, and his entire family, in the passing of Mr. St-Germain. I'll always remember him from the baseball fields by the Bob Turner, watching us play, or just his son play. Often he would be there just watching any game. He had a genuine love for baseball.
There were few baseball men in Cornwall back then. We certainly lost a good one.
May he RIP.
