Ross Bingley

BINGLEY, Ross – passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Ross Bingley, former President of Bingley Steel Works, of Cornwall; age 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Flora Bingley (McCrimmon). Loving father of Donna Bingley, Campbell River, BC, Debbie Hughes (Doug), Campbell River, BC, Larry Bingley (Jocelyne Lalonde), Summerstown, Margo Royer (Dave), Cornwall. Cherished grandfather of Blythe MacPhee, Drew MacPhee, Sarah Wright (Jody), Amanda Smith (Curtis), Melissa Bingley, Erin Bingley, Caitlyn Royer, Danielle Frison (Dave) and Liane Royer (Matt). Also survived by great-grandchildren Grayson and Logan Wright, Gage and Nash Smith and Emma Frison. Dear brother of Queena Scott (Calvin) of Summerstown. Ross also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Roy Bingley and the late Bertha (Bergeron) Bingley. Predeceased by his brother Roy Bingley, and two sisters, Cherry Clarke and Joan McGillis (Allen). Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West, (613-932-8482) from 12 P.M. Thursday, February 20, 2014 followed by Funeral Service at 2 P.M. in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Reverend Ruth Draffin of St. John’s Presbyterian Church officiating.
