It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Sandy Collette at the Cornwall Community Hospital, with her cousin Sherry by her side, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the age of 72 years. Sadly missed by her many cousins, friends and family.
She is predeceased by her parents Wilburn “Babe” and Pauline (née Prieur) Collette. Sandy was the tireless fundraising coordinator at Carefor Hospice Cornwall from its inception in 2009 until her retirement in 2023. She also previously worked with the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Nav Canada. Her dedication, passion and love for her community will forever be remembered by the hundreds of people fortunate enough to have known her.
In keeping with Sandy’s wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Lahaie and Sullivan Funeral Home, 20 Seventh Street W, Cornwall, ON (613-932-8482).
