It is with overwhelming sadness and profound heartbreak that the family announces the passing of Sandra Hickey on September 7, 2026, at the age of 76. Sandra was deeply loved; people were drawn to her warmth, kindness, caring nature, and quiet strength.
Cherished mother of Sara Bihun (Adam) of Ottawa and Ashley Bender (Mark Sauvé) of Cornwall. Proud grandma of Amelia and Blake. Sandra’s grandchildren were her greatest joy and deepest love. The extraordinary bond they shared will live on in their hearts forever. She was a beloved daughter and sister, predeceased by her parents, Wilfred Hickey and Mary (née McClearie) Hickey, and her siblings. She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family and friends.
Her memory will remain a lasting source of comfort and gratitude to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
