Beloved daughter of the late Joseph Dubreuil and the late Olivine (née Rouleau) Dubreuil. Dear sister of 15 brothers and sisters, the late Ludger (Pitou) (the late Adéline Lapointe), the late Steven (Madeleine Paradis), the late Antoinette (the late Gérard Boutin), the late Rolland (the late Monique Boulet), the late Jérémie (Rita Trudel), the late Hector (the late Cécile Lapointe), the late Annette, Yvonne (the late Stanley Ferguson), the late Damien, the late Roger, the late Monique (Fernand Gagné), the late Gertrude, Arthur (Reesie Couture), Philippe (the late Véronique Leblond), Marcel (Jeanne-Mance Routier). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Thérèse was born and raised in the small village of St. Pierre de Broughton, Quebec, as the seventh of 16 children. Prior to marrying, she was a school teacher in the small village schools of Magog, Quebec. Thérèse was the binding force in her little family. As a wife, a mother and a full-time homemaker, she gave her love, her time, and her true presence, selflessly and generously to her husband and children. She was always that way, to all that were fortunate to know her. She spent countless hours at the dining room table, socializing with family and loved ones, helping her children with their homework, playing cards and games with them and with her grandchildren. Always with her family in mind, she baked a lot of traditional French-Canadian meals, desserts and breads. She enjoyed reading, knitting, embroidering, gardening, doing laundry, and she quite enjoyed the presence of a dog in the family home. She had a wonderful sense of humour and had a most beautiful smile. She was in fact as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. A beloved memory of life at home is that her joyful signing and whistling filled the house with love and warmth.
