LEVERE, Thérèse Marie Drucilla Dorothée (née Leroux), peacefully at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care, on the 26th day of December, 2022. Reunited with her beloved late husband, Harry – whom she cherished dearly, on what would have been their 72nd wedding anniversary.
She is the loving mother of Marie-Alice (Mike) and Georges (Sandra) of Cornwall. The cherished grandmother of Caitlin Toth (Ryan), Georges (Chelsea), and Siobhan (Thomas). Great grandmother of Mary, Mason, Myles, Ellie Mary, Anna Jane, Ceallaigh and Georgia. She is also survived by her devoted sister, Alice Terriah (late Omer) and special niece, Lynn Larose. She was predeceased by her parents, Wilfrid (Bidoux) Leroux and Irénè Leroux-Lortie (née Doyon), her sisters, Jeanne Larose (late Mac) and Dorothée Kyer (late D’Arcy), her brothers, Rodophe Leroux (Sharon), Georges Leroux (late Patricia), and Wilfred Leroux (late Gail), her grandson, Nicholas Levere, and daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Levere (née Hauer). She is also fondly remembered by members of various congregations in the Catholic Church where she was dedicated to her faith, and the many students she taught and was extremely fond of during her several decade-long teaching career.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the compassionate care she received by the St. Joseph's Continuing Care Center.
A Mass in Memory of Thérèse will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales, Saturday, January 7th, 2023, at 10 a.m.
In Memoriam, donations to the St. Joseph's Continuing Care Center, Quinn House, would be greatly appreciated.
