PEARCE, William (Bill) Douglas - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our dear father William Pearce who passed away peacefully at home with his loving family on Monday, March 7, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Cecile Marie Francoise (Tessier/Piquette) Pearce. Loving father of Jason (Deb) of Greely, William (Billy Jr.) of Cornwall/Toronto, Shawn (Liliana) of Pincourt and a chosen daughter, Brenda Huff of Vancouver. Beloved grandfather of Tyler(Kim) and Amy (mother Gloria), Mateo and Camila (mother Liliana), Tanu and Koome (mother Brenda). Dear brother of Cheryl Andre (Joe); Niece Karie(Saverio) and Nephews Ryan(Lesley) & Nathan. Dear brother in law of Roger Tessier(Patsy);Nephews David & Paul. Dear chosen brother of Dolores Deforest. Best friend of Bob Ruest(deceased). Predeceased by his parents John and Delia (Lalonde) Pearce. William will be missed by many friends and church family. William loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman & sportsman. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LAHAIE & SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482). A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Parish on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Air Force Association (RCAFA). Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lancaster will follow, starting at approximately 2 pm to 2:30 pm.
