William was the beloved father to Tammy Thompson, the late Jason Allard, Fowler Thompson, and Aaron Cardinal. He was predeceased by his parents, William Thompson and Isabel Foley, and his siblings Eddie, Roy, Ernie, Lora, Lola, Shirley, Flo, Teddy, Joy, Johnny, and Donna.
He is survived by his brothers Robert Thompson (Gayle) and Bernie Thompson (Nicole). William will be dearly missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will cherish his memory.
In keeping with William’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 2 Helen Street, Cornwall, Ontario, K6H 5R6. Following the service, family and friends are invited to stay for light refreshments as we gather to share memories and remember William together.
