“For our Sister with Love”,
It is with a heavy heart and mixed emotions we mourn the passing this week of our dear sister Yvonne. How do you put into words everything you want to say about a sister who meant so much to each and everyone of us. She was much more than a sister. She was like a mother, teacher, friend and confidante. Always there to listen no matter where we were calling from. She was always there to help us through tough times and celebrate our good times. She will always be in our heart and our thoughts and we will miss her forever and a day. Until we meet again dear sis.
Your ever loving sisters and brothers Debbie, Sharon, David and Douglas.

Not a moment passes, not a moment is silent
Not a moment goes by without a silhouette.
As the clouds take shape.
As the wind blows through,
It is your reflection that comes into view.
I've shed all my tears and most of my fears.
It is to see you again, that moment shines near
The person you were, the person you are.
Will always fill my heart and patch up this scar.
I will not say goodbye, or wave as I pass by.
Instead I will say I Love you,
Until I see you again.

Dear Orrin and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Meeting as neighbours many years ago in Brampton,(Carisbooke Crt) I always remember Yvonne as soft spoken and very nice. We only recently reconnected when she passed. 🙏 Anita MacLean (Todd, Jason and Troy)

Welcomed into her family 34+ years ago, Yvonne only had one instinct and that was to make you feel welcomed and loved. As we share memories we find treasures like a picture taken the day they started going out (a small note in the back), and a favourite picture of her and her mom. Yvonne kept everything because everything was important to her if you have it to her, cards and notes to handmade knick knacks. I could not have asked for a better Mom-in-Law, our personal jokes will be missed with so many other things. Love you always, Yvonne.

The Splanes were neighbors of my families in Brampton. Although we have many other memories of Mrs. Splane, the first thing that my sister and I said was “Cinnamon Toast”. Karen had a sleep over when we were all very young, many years ago and Mrs. Splane served us Cinnamon Toast. It was so yummy, that both of us tried duplicating the toast but gave up because it just didn’t taste the same. I think Mrs. Splane kept an ingredient secret to keep us coming back asking for her Cinnamon Toast. Our deepest condolences to Mr. Splane, Karen, Julie and all of their families.

My name is Heather and I met Yvonne when we became neighbors in Carisbrooke Court.  I immediately knew that she was a very special person.  She turned out to be that and more.  Perhaps once in a life time you might be lucky enough to have a friend that you can totally trust.  Through the years we made so many memories that I will treasure.  One thing I know Yvonne gave me the one true friendship that few people experience.

If I was given a wish it would be to take away the devastation that Orrin, Karen, Julie and the grandchildren are feeling.  God bless all of you.
