With immense sorrow, we announce the death of the great Benito Ciano. On June 18, 1941, Benito was born in the small town of Ariano Irpino in Naples, Italy, surrounded by loving parents and thirteen siblings. In his late 20s, Benito moved to Toronto, Canada where in 1967 he married his beloved wife, Isoletta Ciano. They had three children together then packed up their family and moved to Costa Mesa, California. He resided there for the remainder of his life. He worked incredibly hard to build two businesses that still exist today, a florist in Toronto and a car repair shop in California.
Benito died of a cardiac arrest during his visit to Italy on October 15, 2018. He is now survived by his three children and five grandchildren all of whom live in Costa Mesa, California. His eldest daughter is Enza Ciano Cornell born 1970, married to Chris Cornell with two children named Christopher James Cornell and Eva Isoletta Cornell. His second child Dino was born in 1971, and is married to Kerrie Ciano. They have three children Madeleine Jewel Ciano, Benjamin Paul Ciano and Natalie Mae Ciano. Benito’s last child was born in 1979, Angela Ciano Sadoff who is married to Jesse Sadoff.
Benito Ciano lived a tremendous life. He was jubilant, exhilarating, and passionate about everything he did. Driven by devotion and an eagerness to always take care of his family, he was a force to be reckoned with. He made it a priority to invest and care about people; he was link between all family members across all continents. Whether you were the King of France or a homeless man, Benito would always welcome you into his home treating you with the same respect that any person deserves. May he rest in peace as he is reunited with wife in heaven.
