Van Strien, David G., born Dec. 3, 1938 in Grand Rapids, MI, passed away on Aug. 19, 2010. David served in the Navy from 1956-59. Then attended and graduated from Central Michigan University in 1963. Sunny CA enticed him to move west in 1965. He met his much loved wife two months later and traveling the globe was their passion during their 44 years of marriage. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia, one sister, four children and their spouses, and one grandson. A service will be held Tues., Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. at Pacific View Mortuary.
