

Jane Ann Summers-Greggs passed away peacefully at the age of 64 on February 10, 2010. She was born in Culver City, California on January 20, 1946. She resided in Irvine California with her husband Charles Greggs for the past 39 years. A part-time resident of Yucca Valley, she owned the Summer House antique store with her husband. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Charles , puppy son Simon, her daughter Tiffani Brown, son-in-law Christopher, and granddaughters Tessa and Erika Brown, and puppy grandson Cole, by her mother Hazel Summers and sisters Erlyne Devenport, and Sandy Summers-Helms, brother-in-law Charles Helms, and nieces Sarah Summers and Mary Summers-Helms. She was preceded in death by her father Earl S. Summers and sister Gay Lorrie Sines, puppy sons Jimmy, Joe and Frank.
Jane began her prestigious working career of 48 years at the age of 16 at Bill Murphy Buick. Her career in the automobile industry evolved into her highly respected position as Controller for Gordon Automotive Group and the Quality West Wing education group.
Jane had a thirst for knowledge that never quelled. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton where she earned her Bachelor degree in Womens studies. She was an Extra Class ham radio operator (call sign KC6TLB), an avid reader, collector and family historian. Jane was very interested in astrology and numerology. Whenever you met Jane, her first question would always be “When is your birthday?”.
She loved her family fiercely. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be desperately missed. Donations can be made in Jane’s honor to Vasculitis Foundation at P.O. Box 28660, Kansas City, MO 64188. Services will be held on Friday, February 19 at 2:30 at Pacific View Memorial Park & Mortuary in Corona del Mar, California.
