Janice Elsie McInroy

Janice E. (Winters) McInroy, of Anaheim, California, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, at the age of 94.

She was born on October 26, 1931, in Canandaigua, New York, to Thad and Ethel Mosher Winters, and grew up in Elmira, New York, alongside her brothers and sisters, where she made many lasting memories.

Janice married Ronald E. McInroy in 1951, and together they moved to California to begin their life together. The family also lived for a time in Columbus, Ohio, where their son and daughter were born, before returning to California, which became their longtime home.

Janice spent many years working in the banking industry and retired from Union Bank in Newport Beach, California. She and Ron shared 56 wonderful years of marriage before his passing on January 2, 2008.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Janice is survived by her twin sister, Annice Griswold; her son, Kevin McInroy Edwards; her son-in-law, Jack Curler; her grandson, Brandon Curler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald McInroy; her daughter, Lori McInroy Curler; her parents, Ethel Mosher and Thad Winters; and her siblings, Ethel Reese, Virginia Smith, Donald Winters, Joseph Winters, and Marie Teeter.

Janice is interred at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar, California, where she rests with her loving husband and daughter.
