Jean so loved her family and devoted her life to their happiness and well being. Married in 1948 to her “Knight in Shinning Armor”, Donald Richard Behrens in a Fairy Tale Wedding at the Navel Academy Chapel at Annapolis, Maryland. Jean and Don traveled the world together visiting the many places that Don had toured during his naval career.
Jean and her family lived in Newport Beach, California for the past 40 years. She is survived by her faithful and loving husband Donald Richard Behrens of 63 years, three children: Suzanne, Carolyn and Steve. Her youngest son, Jeffrey Scott Behrens passed away in 2010. Also, survived by 7 grandchildren: Craig, Kelli, Garrett, Matthew, Stephanie, Christine and Sarah. And her faithful loving dog, Sumi who was her constant companion until the end.
