Joseph Christopher Ingardia Sr.

Born in Tunisia, North Africa where he lived with his parents Pierre and Gaetana, his brothers and sisters Cathy, Larry, Mary & Sam. In 1955 he immigrated to America with his family and settled in Chicago, Illinois. He found a job working as a machinist knowing very little English. At that time, he also played for a semi pro soccer team, the Maroons. He fell in love with the game of baseball and cheered for the White Sox and then the Angels. In 1962 Joe met and married his wife of 61 years, Susan. In 1964 they had their first son Joe Jr. Shortly after that they moved to sunny Southern California where they still live today. In 1970 they welcomed their second son Christopher. In 1973 Joe and his brother Sam started a very successful produce and seafood company called Ingardia Bros. Produce. This year they will be celebrating 50 years of success. He is survived by his bride Susan, sons Joe Jr. & wife Stephanie, Chris & wife Sandi. His grandchildren Cody & wife Aracely, Taylor & husband Jorge, Alyssa, Tori & husband Austin. His great grandchildren Isabella, Scarlett & Brayden.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 7th. 2023 10:00am at Pacific View Mortuary & Memorial Park. 3500 Pacific View Dr. Corona del Mar, CA. 92625
