Ligia was the beloved wife of Liviu "Lee" and a proud and loving mother to her two children, Christopher and Vivienne. Her life was centered around her family, and she embraced her role as a homemaker and mother with grace, strength, and selflessness. She created a home filled with warmth, care, and unconditional love—something all who knew her could feel.
She is survived by her husband, Liviu "Lee"; her children, Christopher and Vivienne; her father, Vasile Muresan; and her sisters, Angela and Simona. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Muresan, and her brother Nicolae Muresan.
Ligia’s faith was a guiding force in her life. She was an active member of Whittier Area Community Church, where she volunteered at many events and was deeply committed to supporting children within the church and its community. One of her favorite events each year was the church’s Christmas program, where she helped bring joy and care to children in need. Her compassion extended beyond the holidays, as she supported efforts that cared for vulnerable children throughout the year.
Outside of her service, Ligia found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments. She loved the beach, being in nature, flowers, and gardening—things that reflected her peaceful spirit and appreciation for God’s creation.
In honor of Ligia’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whittier Area Community Church’s “Go Serve Love” fund. This fund supports the Angel Tree program and other initiatives dedicated to helping children in need—causes that were very close to her heart.
