God rest your sweet soul Megyn.  During our short time together at United Rentals, I quickly determined that you were a powerhouse.  What beauty and grace heaven has called home.  God bless your sweet family.  May they be comforted and may you rest in Gods eternal peace.  



I will never forget the trip Megan & I took to Europe the summer I graduated from Santa Clara - this photo is us in front of the Eiffel Tower. I’m so lucky to have had Megan as my little sis in Alpha Phi and I’m sorry to have lost touch over the years. Megan was always there for me & had the kindest heart. I remember when she told me about Marc, she was so giddy and you could just tell it was something special. I’m sending so much love to you Marc and your boys during this difficult time. We will keep you all in our hearts & prayers always.

Megan was one of the absolute kindest souls we have known. After college, she and Mira became housemates in San Francisco, and at a time where young twenty-somethings living together might otherwise get up to no good and strain relationships, Megan was the rock that kept the house from turning into a season of ‘The Real World’.

We were fortunate to continue our friendship after moving to Southern California, and Megan was always great about making time meet up, especially as we both welcomed two boys into our sprouting families.

We will miss Megan dearly. We look to honor her memory by continuing our tradition of meetups with Marc, Brandt, and Max.

So many fun memories w/you in them my sweet megan, from nights before babies, to being there when our babies were born, growing together, through amazing times and hard times, you became like family and no matter where we left off we always picked back up as if no time went by, I will miss you so much and I will always hold you dearly to my heart, I will keep close all our memories and so blessed to have had so many with you. I love you friend forever and always.

I spent many great times with Megan during college (where we all met) whether it was movie watching, studying, getting our fro-yo, alpha-phi meetings, hanging in Huntington beach or vacationing with our friends. Megan's kindness, integrity and desire to make an impact reached beyond her friends, the classroom and into  volunteering with women's programs. All before she became a strong loving wife and mom. Megan was always a delight.    She was a happy Baby,   with curly red hair,    who grew up to be a lovely,   accomplished young woman,  
with a beautiful family.

It is not possible to fully express our great sorrow on her untimely
passing.  

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark,  Brandt,  and Max and the rest of her saddened and mourning family. 

We loved Megan and will miss her always. 

It was heartbreaking to hear about Megan, my deepest condolences to Marc, the boys, and their families. 

It’d been years since I’d seen or talked to Megan, but we were friends in college, and were both TA’d for one of our finance professors senior year. One fond memory I have was when we used part of the stipend he gave us to buy him a bottle of Macallan 18 as a thank you and then we spent a couple hours sharing that with him, telling stories during his office hours. 

Again, so sorry to hear the news and I hope everyone that loves her can find a measure of peace. 

This is very sad news. I’m grateful that I had the opportunity to get to know Megan. She was true pleasure to know and Megan’s passion for her work, demand for excellence, and deep care that she had for her teammates were unparalleled. I will always remember the last project we worked together, not surprisingly to improve a process. Teaming up with Megan was always effortless. Her interactions with our team provoked creativity and put others at ease. My heart goes out to Megan’s family at this difficult time. While we will miss her, the impact she had on myself and all those around her will always endure.

Megan, 

It's taken me a while to process that you're gone. It just doesn't seem possible. Seems like yesterday that I was the new person at work and you heard me over a room full of cubicles talking loudly on the phone. Probably giving someone an earful!  You  came over and introduced yourself with a big grin on your face saying "hearing you made me laugh and made my day!" From that day forward you were my friend and being your friend was easy, I could truly  be myself around you and I always appreciated that. I watched as you succeeded and surpassed so many in a very hard business and I was always so proud of your accomplishments. You inspired me and many other around you. You showed the same determination and kindness in your family life and with your friends. I will always hold dearly our fun "girls-trip weekends" filled with laughs and deep conversations. 

I know that physically your body may no longer be with us in a form that we recognize , but, your bright light, your enthusiastic spirit and your immense energy will always surround us and live on in Marc and the boys.

There is frankly no words to express my deepest sorrow for losing Megan way too early.  While I have bounced between sadness, shock and sorrow, I also recognize how lucky I was to have had the opportunity to be a part of her life and for that we must find a way to celebrate her and memorialize her legacy.  Megan will always be such a joy and light and will be carried on by all of us who connected with her.  We once studied a book at work called "The Ideal Team Player".  As I read that book, I thought about those on the team that exemplified those traits.  Megan was a 10 out of 10 for everything that book defined as the kind of people you want to team up and be around.  Megan had a passion for excellence, but also does it with so much charm and wit; She has the true gift of leadership.  My first thought after getting a call from Marc was that God decided he need one of his finest soldier's up there with him to have had this happen.  We will forever look after the boys with everything we can to honor Megan and what she meant to so many of us.  She deeply loved her family and I know she will be a guardian Angel for them.  She will forever be a part of our lives.

Megan was a wonder to work with and I wish I had known the light she provided better. Though I only worked with her, she showed incredible strength, understanding, and compassion in the most stressful of times. I am so sorry for her family and friends she will surely be missed by all she interacted with. 

I didn’t know Megan very long but for the short time that I did she was to me gracious and nice and I will never forget her and grateful that I met her …….

Since we all met at the gym and shared a love for fitness it only seemed appropriate to share a picture of us getting ready to run a race. The weekend of this picture was one for the books. Yes, we went to run but really it was more about planning a fun girls weekend away together. We got to shop a little and eat good food. Megan was up for any adventure and always made things fun.

My dearest Megs, we grew as coworkers but became really close friends quickly. I will miss our 2-3 phone calls a day just talking about work, how we were going to become badass girl bosses and just how crazy life was with two crazy kids. You were always there to love and support me and you will be dearly missed.
