How my husband, Bob Miller loved "Dick-o" when he and "Bob-o" became across the street neighbors as young boys. They continued to use those nicknames even into their old ages.
It was such a pleasure for me to get to know Mary and Dick. They were such a loving couple, and Bob and I had many pleasant times with them.

I remember meeting Mr. Clements shortly after I hired on at United Way of Central Oklahoma, 20+ years ago. His greeting was warm and welcoming. He was always a gentleman, stately and proper.

Always called him
Mr’C’ and when he was crowned king of beau arts ball I cut the pic out of the paper
And tacked it to his office door

His face was as
Red as the cape he wore when he saw it. He laughed. . He was an honest and sweet man who can never be replaced . God bless
And his family. Mary lou Srebala

I had the personal privilege of knowing and working with Mr. Clements while on the staff of the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce where he served as Chairman in 1983. He had the kindest mannerisms and presence to the point it was infectious, along with that always wonderful smile displayed for all to see. My most sincere condolences to the Clements family for the loss of this great and caring gentleman and business leader.

Needless to say I am very saddened by this news. Being part of the Clements family for so many years, a lot of wonderful memories come flooding back. Dick and my Dave had a special friendship all the years we were connected to Clements Foods, and now they are both gone. To all the boys, their wives and families I send love and hugs.
