Scott was born August 11, 1957 in Camden, NJ to Kenneth and Dolores Spruth. He received his Real Estate and Finance degree from CSULB. He was a financial advisor for over 40 years. On May 18, 1991 he married the love of his life, Susan Arnold. They were blessed with two beautiful children, a daughter, Taylor, and a son, Garrett.
Scott had a passion for his work as a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Advisors. He adored each and every client like family. He loved music, the beach, and Duffy boat rides at sunset. He also loved cooking, traveling, coaching his son in water polo, his Porsche car club, and anything that involved his family. He was known for his infectious smile, his kind and compassionate spirit, his generosity and more than anything, his love and devotion to his family.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and his mother, Dolores. He is survived by his wife Susan, his children Taylor and Garrett, his sister Adrienne, his twin brother Steven, his older brother Mark, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 10, 2021at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 2046 Mar Vista Dr, Newport Beach, CA at 1pm, followed by a Celebration of Life.
The Spruth family appreciates donations be made in Scott’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) in Irvine.
