Shelley Ellen Sorell was born December 6th 1961 to the parents of Charleen Faler -Sorell and Howard Sorell. Shelley was born at 10:30 pm at the Orange County General Hospital in Orange County, CA. Shelley was their third child they shared together.
Shelley was # 3 out of 4 children Jerry, David and Robin . Shelley had a great deal of love for her siblings and cared for them dearly. She definitely had a unique way of showing it.
While growing up Shelley had a huge love for taking pictures. She kept tons, I mean tons of photo albums of her younger years. (THAT WE WERE NEVER ABLE TO TOUCH) HAHA. And throughout those years Shelley made tons of friends that became family.
Shelley was 26 years old when she had her 1st child Rachelle on Feb 14th 1987, Jacob was her second child born April 26th 1989 followed by Michael her 3rd and most favorite on December 15th 1991 and last but not least Stormie was born Sept 18th 1996.
Shelley had a total of 4 children whom she loved unconditionally but definitely had a unique way of showing it. Shelley was a single mother who did the best she could raising 4 beautiful, stubborn, hard headed and loving children with the help of her mother Charleen.
Shelley was blessed with 4 grandchildren. Chloe who's 14, Kaia who's 9 and babies Stormie and Ryder who are both 8 months old. Shelley loved her grandchildren dearly and constantly bragged about them to everyone.
During the last few years of Shelley's life, she spent it caring for her mother Charleen who suffered from a stroke a few years prior. Charleen was the glue that kept us together. Charleen took her last breath on June 1st 2021. Just 11 weeks ago. She is no longer suffering and is at peace. After her mother's death, Shelley flew to Nome, Alaska to meet her newest grand daughter Stormie. Shelley spent a month in Alaska with her son Michael and his family. Shelley had an absolute wonderful time and when she got back that's all she would talk about.
Shelley struggled with addiction throughout her life. Some say it is because she lost her father at a very young age. However, during her visit to Alaska Shelley used this time to get sober. Shelley was very proud of herself for being drug free for 52 days. Here words were I wanna watch my kids and grandkids grow up.
Unfortunately on August 6th 2021 at 9:30 am Shelley lost her life unexpectedly due to going into cardiac arrest. While in the hospital, Shelley was surrounded by 3 of her children and granddaughter Chloe when her heart took its last beat. SHELLEY WILL BE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS AND MEMORIES WE KEEP. REST EASY ♡
