Grandpa, I will keep this short and sweet…I just wanted to thank you for all of your selfless acts and wonderful things you did for me and my family.  You have given me opportunities that most people only dream of and I am forever grateful.  I would give anything to shake your hand one last time and give you a big hug, and hear another one of your stories.  Miss you, love you, and hope you are resting in peace. Well Jan – Here we are.  We never thought when we were at school eating toasted tuna sandwiches, chocolate milkshakes, and apple pie each day that we would turn 80.  We have survived three children each and lots of fun times together.  Jan, this time is new to both of us.  We will get through this and perhaps the best is yet to come. My dear friend Jan, There are so many wonderful memories of the “old days.”  We had such great times in school with the girlfriends, then later, when we got married and had kids.  I enjoyed so many good times over the years with you and Tom.  One of my favorite experiences was the trip down the river.  I tell everyone about it because it was so special.  You two are great friends and generous hosts.  I know Tom loved you so much and he will be missed.  I hope you get along okay with the help and love of your family.  You
