Arturo T. Gonzales

Arturo graduated from Corpus Christi High School. He married Adela Vela on September 28, 1952. Arturo worked as a Union Carpenter. He had a passion for barbecuing with friends and family and he loved to dance.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tomas Gonzales and Lilia Salinas; sister, Barbara Cantu; brother, Tomas Gonzales and grandson, Eric Gonzales.

Arturo is survived by his loving wife, Adela V. Gonzales; his sisters, Lita (Johnny) Palacios and Sylvia Esquivel; his children, Arturo J. Gonzales (Maggie), Ruby Gonzales, Grace Segura (Dave), Albert Gonzales, Lisa Shepard (Bud) and Carol Lopez; his grandchildren, Camille (Keith), Aaron, James, Bryan, Danielle, Clarissa, Kandace (Steve), Alyssa, Jessuip, Jesiah and Asaph; he also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Landen, Kayden, Christian, and Gavin.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors with a Rosary at 7:00 pm that same evening.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
