He was born on January 11, 1954 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He is preceded in death by his son, Eric Gonzales and father, Arturo T. Gonzales. Left behind to cherish his memory is his mother, Adela Vela Gonzales; wife, Maggie C. Gonzales; children, Camille (Keith Lopez) Gonzales and Aaron Gonzales; step-children, Maria Louisa Ramirez, Henry Galvan III and Eric Galvan; grandchild, Gavin Lopez; 7 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Ruby Gonzales, Grace (Dave) Segura, Lisa (Bud) Shepard and Albert Gonzales. There are also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Chapel service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
