He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard H. Pineda; sister, Maria Del Rosario Mendiola and son, Joel A. Pineda.
He is survived by his children, Jaime Pineda, Julie Pineda, Javier Pineda (Lisa), Jim Pineda, Joyce Saenz (Roland) and Yvonne Lopez (Samuel) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brothers, Martin Pineda (Katy), Paul Pineda of Corpus Christi and Robert Pineda (Sabrina) of New Jersey; sisters: Margarita Pineda, Josie Morales, Rebecca Rosales (Agapito), Louisa Lopez (Alonzo “Smiley” Treviño), Yolanda Flores (Jose), Carolina Ventura all of Corpus Christi and Dolores Polanco (Frank) of Victoria, Texas.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2013 at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
