She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who devoted her life to her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mauricio Ramirez, Sr.; son, Alfredo Ramirez and grandson, Robert P. Garcia.
She is survived by her daughters, Yolanda Gallegos of Windcrest, Texas, Aida Garcia (Casildo, Jr.), of Robstown, Texas, Diana Valdez (Domingo) of Banquete, Texas and Delma Chapa (Michael) of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons, Gilbert Ramirez (Beatrice) and Mauricio Ramirez, Jr., ( Adelina) of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Armando Ramirez (Sandra) of Banquete, Texas; 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Sanchez, Lupita Mendez-Sosa and Udelia Ovalle.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, Monday, May 20, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly, a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly. Interment will follow at Memorial Park in Robstown, Texas.
