Consuelo A. Garcia

Consuelo A. Garcia entered eternal life on Thursday, May 20, 2021. She was born on December 31, 1924 to Belen and Francisco Arroyos in San Benito, Texas. She loved being a mother and grandmother to all. She loved spending the weekend’s playing cards and Bingo with her children.

Consuelo was preceded in death by her husband, Rafael Garcia, Sr.; parents; five sisters; daughters, Concepcion Hernandez and Ester Martinez; son, Daniel Garcia; and granddaughter, Christina Castillo. She is survived by her children, Rafael (Gloria) Garcia, Jr., Candy (Fernando) Casares, Janie (Bony) Zuniga, Yolanda (Oscar) Hernandez, Gracie (Mario) Estrada, Norma Garcia, all of Corpus Christi, Texas, Eva Maria Castillo and Margie Ramirez of Houston, Texas; 31 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers, grandchildren, Marcos Garcia, Dominic Garcia, Ray Pena, Joe Albert Zuniga, Michael Ramirez, Oscar Hernandez, Jr., Juan Jose Estrada and Mario Estrada, Jr.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Funeraria del Angel, Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service and Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 3210 SPID, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., interment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
