Cruz Chapa Jr.

Cruz was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He had been employed at Bay LTD Construction for the past six years. He was an avid fisherman; Cruz loved spending time with his family and Barbeques. He especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters. His love will also be cherished forever.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Mary P. Chapa; son Juan Cruz Chapa, daughters Monica M. and Marissa L. Chapa; brothers David Garza, Rolando Chapa, and Roel Chapa; sisters Erma (Felix) Garcia Rosie (Nick) Palacios and sister Norma (Fernando) Trevino; grandchildren Kaelee Brianna Rivera and Emilee Marie Rivera.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery
