Cullen Storm Reeves Sr.

Cullen S. Reeves 90, went home to be with his heavenly Father on July 30, 2012. He was born on September 1, 1921 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to the late William Maurice Reeves and Mary Eulice Howard. He was a World War ll Veteran with the US Army Air Corp. Cullen retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after thirty-five years of service. He was a Past Master and active member of Oso Naval Lodge #1282. He was an active member of Al Amin Shrine Center. He enjoyed 38 years of sobriety and helping others through AA.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Helen of 66 years; sons, Cullen S. Reeves Jr. (Ann Wise), Steven P. Reeves (Susan), William P. Reeves (Brenda); 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Helen June Reeves and grandson, Cody James Erwin.

Visitation will be held at 4:00 until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Cage Mills Funeral Directors, 4901 Everhart Road. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2012 at Reid Memorial Mausoleum Chapel in Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum.
